Blasting Plans

Design, charge calculations and operational blasting procedures.

01

Geotechnical Design and Charge Calculations

We develop numerical and analytical models tailored to the specific questions of blasting plans. The model is calibrated against field data, used to test relevant scenarios and subjected to sensitivity checks. The outputs support safety verification, comparison of alternatives and the transparent definition of design values and residual risks.

02

Monitoring and Vibration Thresholds

We define the parameters, instruments, measurement intervals and data workflows needed for effective blasting plans. Measurements are checked, visualised and compared with project-specific alarm thresholds. Where required, automated notifications and a 24/7 on-call procedure provide rapid escalation and a documented basis for operational decisions.

03

Operational Procedures and Safety

We translate the technical assessment into a practical and proportionate operating concept. Roles, decision paths, information flows, thresholds and response actions are defined with the responsible organisations. The concept can be tested through exercises and updated as monitoring data, infrastructure or risk conditions change. Depending on the assignment, the work may use or refer to GIS.

04

Documentation and Optimisation

We prepare independent technical assessments based on documented observations, calculations and applicable Swiss requirements. The conclusions are written so that clients, authorities, designers and legal advisers can understand the technical reasoning and its limitations. We can also support negotiations, administrative procedures, disputes and the implementation of agreed measures. Depending on the assignment, the work may use or refer to EED.
